Hampshire Equipment Service (HES) can deliver and install equipment on loan for as long as you need and help with minor adaptations. This is to assist you to live as independently as possible while:

• getting in and out of your home
• getting in and out of chairs and beds
• getting on and off the toilet
• using the bath or shower
• managing kitchen activities, such as standing at the sink, getting food to a table.

Following an OT assessment, some of the equipment and adaptations available are:

• Grab rails
• Banister rails for stairs
• Chair raisers to increase the height of your chair or sofa
• Toileting aids, such as raised toilet seats
• Bathing and showering aids, such as a seat for your shower
• Equipment to help you hear your TV if you have hearing loss
• Aids to help if you have visual impairment

Whether you are feeling lonely, or are looking to become physically active but need help with motivation, want support to find out how to take part in activities in your community then our social prescribers can help. 

FREE service, receiving up to 12 weeks support, tailored to each person's needs and goals. Locally we have Tracey & Stephanie who will support you.

• Advice & signposting about keeping fit and healthy 
• Have anxiety but would like to get out more 
• Experience helping people with learning disabilities

The Silver Line is a FREE confidential helpline providing information, friendship and advice to older people, open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

NeighbourCare Befriending Service offers a volunteer to go to your house once a week for a chat over a cup of tea 

Steady and Strong classes are designed to help people over 65 to improve strength and balance, helping you to live independently for longer & avoid falls

Exercises are done both seated and standing, with chair support for those who require it. Currently no sessions in Tadley. Options include 

• Aquadrome Basingstoke Monday at 10.30am. £4 per session paid 4 weeks in advance. To book call 01256 472343

Ambrose Allen Centre Tadley; They offer a safe environment, three days a week (currently Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 3pm) for vulnerable people over 55 years old living in Tadley and surrounding areas 

Variety of daily activities. Fees include two-course hot lunch

Qualified chiropodists/podiatrists that offer low-cost toenail cutting and to provide a basic foot health check

Appointments are charged at £15 and £10 one-off charge for your foot care kit
