Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) are registered nurses who have undergone extra training. They can assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe and make referrals for patients.

Practice Nurses

We have a team of qualified and registered practice nurses. As well as dealing with dressings, injections and baby clinics they run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Proactive Care Nurse

Provides proactive medical care to a caseload of vulnerable patients (including home visiting), to improve the quality of care these patients receive and to reduce the risk of emergency hospital admission.

Health Care Assistants and Phlebotomists

Health Care Assistants work under the supervision of qualified nursing staff and can see patients for simple wound care, clinical assessment and assist in minor surgical procedures. Phlebotomists are specially trained clinical support workers who take blood samples from patients for testing in hospital laboratories.

Health and Wellbeing Coach

Works closely with patients who will usually have one or more long term conditions. Also takes a proactive approach to preventing illness in patients where obesity, lack or fitness or poor nutrition is a risk factor for their future health.

Young Persons Counsellor

Kristina has joined the team at Tadley Medical Partnership as a Youth Mentor for the YPI counselling service. She has a background in Psychology and Mental Health and has worked in previous roles with children and young people., She can support children and young people aged 11-25 with their mental health and well-being.

Social Prescriber

Provides support to patients in the community to improve their health, wellbeing and to tackle social isolation. Connects people with non clinical support such as day centres, charities or community groups in the community

Practice Management

The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The Practice business manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

GILLIAN HERBERT

Receptionists

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses.

Secretarial and Administration Team

Our secretaries process all referral letters and reports leaving the Practice. Our Administrators manage incoming documents, patient registration, recall letters for specialist clinics and routine screening eg cervical smear screenng, childhood immunisations. They also process medical and insurance reports,sick notes and online access applications amongst many other things.
