In-House Young People's Counselling Clinic

We are pleased welcome a youth mentoring team leader from the Basingstoke YPI counselling service who will be working with us at Tadley Medical Partnership. You can call us on 0118 981 4166 to book a telephone assessment. It's a service for patients aged between 8 to 25 years old offering support & counselling for the following needs:

  • Anxieties
  • Low mood & beginning of depressed symptoms
  • Simple phobias, social phobias & health anxiety
  • Self esteem
  • Issues relating to sexuality & identity
  • Loneliness, social isolation and relationships with peers (including bullying)
  • Practical support for those with diagnosed mental health conditions (subject to assessment)
  • Support for getting back into education, training or work
  • Support to prevent homelessness
  • Young parents
  • Individuals who are leaving/left the care system

Help will be given to provide a support plan & arrange counselling if needed. The mentor works with local schools, agencies & healthcare professionals to offer a joint up support approach

Video Counselling

A private (paid for) service for over-18-year-olds for a full initial video assessment with a Psychologist, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) therapist or a psychological well-being practitioner

Help with anxiety, depression, OCD, panic attacks & stress

Or Find a private therapist near you to see in person, telephone or online (Fees vary)

Community Connect Service

Whether you are feeling lonely, or are looking to become physically active but need help with motivation, want support to find out how to take part in activities in your community then the British Red Cross can help 

FREE service, receiving up to 12 weeks support, tailed to each person's needs and goals 

  • Lonley & isolated 
  • Need to reconnect with the community
  • Would like carer support & signposting to groups, days centres & benefits 
  • Advice & signposting about keeping fit & healthy 
  • Have anxiety but would like to get out more 
  • Tracey has 20+ years experience with people with learning disabilities
