Child Health Surveillance

All children under five are registered for child health surveillance and are given appointments with the doctor/health visitor for developmental assessments at the appropriate stages. Please ring for up to date information on child health clinics via the Basingstoke and Tadley Health Visiting Team on 01256 376558

Your childs 6-8 week check will be with a GP. Call reception 0118 981 4166 to arrange this. We will schedule this on the same day as their immunisations at 8 weeks. 

For child health advice and breast feeding support there is a clinic at Tadley Community Centre every Wednesday afternoon.  Please note that these appointments must be booked in advance.  For further details please click here.

Supporting parents, carers & families of under 5’s

Run by local health visitors who have a wealth of experience of working with mums and dads-to-be, babies, toddlers & young children 

Able to support with questions from parents, carers and families relating to a wide range of health and wellbeing issues including:

• crying babies
• infant feeding
• starting baby on solid foods
• sleep and behaviour problems
• signposting to appropriate services and other support
