Temporary reduction in Nurse’s appointments

Due to staff shortages we regret we shall be reducing the number of appointments available with our Practice Nurses at both Morland Surgery and Holmwood Health Centre. This will affect our Travel Clinics especially and you may be directed to a travel health clinic elsewhere.

Boots and Superdrug offer this service in their larger stores and other providers are available.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to resume our normal service as soon as possible.

GP Training

GP Registrars

two_female_medical_students_2Tadley Medical Partnershirp is proud to continue in its long established role as a training practice for GP Registrars, who spend up to a year with us and are fully qualified doctors who are learning about the special requirements of General Practice.

During their first few weeks at the practice they often spend time sitting in with other doctors during surgery. You will be given the opportunity to ask the GP Registrar to leave if you would prefer this.

We also have other recently qualified doctors who spend 4 month attachments with us before returning to hospital work.

Currently 2 of the partners are qualified GP trainers -  Dr Vivienne Adler and Dr Sunil Bhanot.

Dr Rohit Chander is the supervisor for the foundation year doctors.

Medical Students

The Doctors also teach senior medical students from London and Southampton at both Holmwood Health Centre and Morland Surgery from time to time. They often spend time sitting in with other doctors and nurses during surgery. You will be given the opportunity to ask for the student to leave if you prefer.
